Designed and facilitated by local artist ALICIA JONES, curious creatives explore our unique Gold Coast history through contemporary art practice.

Set within the lush, hidden gardens of the GOLD COAST HISTORICAL SOCIETY MUSEUM, creativity comes alive through performance, paints and pastels, film/video and enhanced storytelling.

Alicia will lead curious creatives on a site-specific journey where country holds the original story.  Significant objects and artefacts found within the Gold Coast region, provide the backdrop for imagination to explode with possibility.

The wonderful  volunteers of the Gold Coast Historical Society Museum will be on hand to provide specialist knowledge about the collection, including the working settler's hut and the amazing, ancient littoral rainforest.

With a commitment to the development of genuine skills and respectful experience, these workshops are limited to 10 young artists per day.  Bookings are essential.
